Damage Prevention and Load Securement
Litco’s corrugated void filler is an affordable packaging solution that blocks and braces your product during shipping. It is lightweight, reusable and used to fill voids between unit loads in rail cars, truck trailers, and shipping containers. Our void filler is quicker to install than Air Bags and less expensive. It comes in a variety of designs for optimal load securement. Each one is custom-designed to fit your specific shipping requirements.
Litco’s corrugated bulkhead panels prevent side-by-side or lateral shift in boxcars, trailers, and intermodal containers. They reinforce and enhance Air Bag performance and can also be used to fill pallet underhang (when cargo is smaller than pallet). The interior honeycomb construction provides lightweight yet durable support and protection.
Litco’s corrugated pallets are a strong, environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to wooden pallets. A corrugated pallet can weigh up to 75% less than a traditional solid wood pallet and can support higher weights if the load is distributed properly. The lighter weight can significantly lower shipping costs and reduce handling injuries.
Corner protectors are cost-effective, lightweight packaging protection that reinforce box edges. Their V-shape provides additional box strength and guards against abrasion, scratches and dents. Corner protectors are 100% recyclable and enable pallets to be stacked on top of one another. They can be printed with your company’s name or important handling instructions. All corner protectors are made to order. Size is determined by leg length, caliper and board length.
Inflatable Dunnage Air Bags are a reliable way to stabilize your cargo and minimize shipping damage. They are used in trucks, overseas containers and rail cars. Durable and easy to install—Air Bags fill voids, brace loads, absorb vibrations and protect cargo from in-transit damage. Litco offers a full line of Kraft Paper, Vinyl and Polywoven Dunnage Air Bags and inflator tools to meet your budget and shipping requirements.
Made in the USA from recycled, granulated rubber, the LitcoSecure Anti-Slip Friction Rubber Mat provides a non-slip, friction surface that reduces load sliding and shifting. Environmentally friendly and reusable, it meets the regulations of the American Association of Railroads (AAR), the Department of Transportation (DOT) and other organizations.
Moving a washing machine but don’t have transit bolts to secure the drum? Our proprietary LITKIT® offers an alternative shipping solution! This “One Kit Fit” stabilizes the drum on front load and hybrid top-load washing machines. It effectively locks the drum in place, preventing movement and damage. The kit includes: a) two inflatable Vinyl Air Bags, b) an air pump with an inflator tip, and c) a 3” corrugated block for additional stabilization.
